GODFLESH: Rare EP To Be Re-Released
February 18, 2003GODFLESH's ultra-rare "Messiah" EP, originally recorded in 1994 and issued six years later in a limited-edition pressing of 700 through frontman Justin Broadrick's ill-fated Avalanche Inc. label, will be re-released through Relapse Records on April 1. The re-issue will be remastered and will also feature alternate artwork, according to the unofficial GODFLESH page Crumbling Flesh (www.godflesh.com)
In other news, the lineup of Justin's new guitar-based project, JESU, has been revealed. Joining Broadrick in the group are Demot Dalton (bass) and Ted Parsons (drums),with Paul Neville performing guitars on several tracks. The "initial stage of basic recording for the first album" has been completed, with the CD tentatively due later in the year through an as-yet-undisclosed label.
